Guide on the Exterior Car Cleaning: Tips and Useful Tools

Guide on the Exterior Car Cleaning, your car is probably not the funniest thing in the world. On the other hand, it is such a big pleasure to drive a clean shiny car, isn’t it? Of course, you can use the service of a drive-through hand car wash or an automatic car wash. But nobody will wash your car as thoroughly as you will do it.

So, if you decided to clean your car by yourself, here is a short guide that will help you with this task.

First, park your car in a shaded place and give it time to cool down. Heat can speed up soap and water drying time and leave soap stains on your car.

Second, prepare supplies for cleaning. To wash the exterior of your car, you need water and two buckets, a car cleaner, a cloth/rag, tire cleaner (if you want to clean tires), soft terry towels, and car wax.

Fill buckets with water and add a car cleaner into one of them. Another one we will use to wash out the foam. Start washing your car from the top. Make sure to remove all the leaves and dirty to avoid scratching your car. You can make this process a little bit easier and faster with a Multi-Purpose Hose Sprayer Nozzle

When you finish, you should use your soft-terry towels to dry it. Don’t let the air do it to avoid watermarks and stains. By the way, with this Plush Car-Washing Glove, you can dry your car faster.

Then, you can clean wheels. Don’t forget to change the water. You will need two buckets again. Add a cleaner into the one bucket. Wash tires from the top one by one. And wash out the foam when everything is done.

When the washing part is over, you can go to wax your car. And there you are!

Various car cleaning accessories can make this process less time-consuming. Most of them you can find at the Car Cleaning section at our store. We will be happy to see you among our customers!
